I want something with some serious awesome behind it. Features and awesome. And more awesome.

I like Itunes, personally, but it's very limited in what it can do.

Bonus points for functional beat matching when in shuffle mode and a better fade in/out transition.

I'm still using songbird after 2 or 3 weeks. It's not great, but it doesn't suck either.

Meh, I just use iTunes.

Unless, of course, you want to actually give us specific complaints against it, then we can help you out and try to tailor to your specific needs.

I use Winamp for its Global Hotkeys function. You can basically skip songs, increase volume, etc, at the touch of a key. It's much faster than scrolling, imho.

Faster than scrolling, and you can control winamp while playing games.

For example,

next song -- ctrl+alt+b
previous song -- ctrl+alt+z
pause -- ctrl+alt+c

and so on and so forth. really handy.

It fucks up your collection.
It did it to mine. Twice. One of those times duplicating every MP3 I had, forcing me to go through 1000+ files and manually find and delete the duplicates.

You think thats bad? try getting a new computer and then trying to copy all the files and import them. 3 months latter I'm still cleaning up the mess.
Still, besides that, I have found it to be a good program.

I would use songbird but my feelings about iTunes are only meh... so I don't have enough motivation to go out and learn a new program.
