Since when does it take 5 weeks to become a member.. Koz was inducted in less than a week, same with others. I have played many many times with him and still nothing....

I play TF2 alot, and even started a cool Halloween costume thread that had some wicked costumes posted. I'm off to play right now, but it's 10:05 pm here in Vancouver so most don't even see me. Oh well, I'll try playing during the day!

He has more posts than the othe inductees that joined after him .... I really think you admins need to be more aware of your environment.... This is probably the biggest pile of shit I have seen to date..... I really think Whut needs to do some house cleaning and start finding more role models than dicks.... LOL Oh I said that out loud ..... So far as I have been nack I have seen bickering between admins, cheap shots from admins, and now blatent abuse from admins.... I have been around for quite some time and now I am ashamed at what has happened... I said my .02 cents .... I have much respect for Admins past and present.. but this is totally unacceptable...

recruit votes have nothing to do with the admins. pDs members are the ones who vote for the recruits. server issues and clan issues are completely seperate. do not mix them together. Cantrip wrote:When I die, I want to be reincarnated as a woman's jogging bra.

I have seen many recruits that have not been given extra time. I would say that extra time is better than a declined application, right? I have heard it said that it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. Not that I am anybody but I like you Booze, but your comments are out of line. Let's just relax and see how this plays out.

I love how I am out of line for speaking up..... I an defending the rights of the clan and for all who apply... I think that we should go back to free reign applications.. If someone wants to join the "clan" then so be it... If they wanna leave then let it be... I feel i have a voice and I will speak my mind ..... If you don't like what I have to say then don't listen... Again I am saying that this procedure is FUBAR when someone that plays and posts more than most other new recruits... I feel there is favoritism involved and that needs to stop.... But what do I know right....

By free reign you mean taking anyone that applies? That is just foolish. I voted for him but the majority voted for extra time. That is the way it is. No reason to resort to name calling, etc.
Edit: You were not out of line for speaking up, but for the name calling.

A recruit applies. 2 weeks after they have been accepted in the recruit phase, we hold a vote for them. We hold votes for everyone that applies. We then vote. The options are Yes, No, or 1 Week Extension. If we don't recognize a name, then we extend the recruit phase. If we do know the name and we like the person, we say yes. How can there be any favoritism? There is no one person that decides the membership of a recruit. We all (pDs members) decide. We usually have 14-20 people vote in each poll and they cast their opinions based on how they have (or haven't) seen the recruit. I don't really know how else to explain it to you. Vietnow had his vote extended. This could mean multiple things. He might not have posted much. He might not have played at the same times as the pDs members that vote, or he might not have played much at all. I haven't played in a while so i don't know what his in-game activity is. A trick that any recruit can do is find pDs members on steam friends and have a one on one chat with them. Learn something about them, and show them you are a good candidate for pDs. That is a 100% sure way to get in. I know that I would vote for anyone who initiated a conversation with me and wanted to learn some about me and wanted to teach me some about them. Well, It has been 6 weeks now. I tried to become a member, before crunch time on my teams current project. I now have 1 week left to finish my models, so i won't be online much right now. I have been playing daily for 3 months, posting new interesting threads and such, but nothing seems to work. I have roughly 10 or more {pDs} members as friends, but that obviously has no effect. AND in Boozehounds deffence, he was the first member I met, watching as 3, 4, 5 and 6 weeks passed by. I bet he is just a frustrated as I when I see 4 recruits become members AFTER my 3 weeks were up, and I had been a recruit for 3 weeks longer than they. So my point, my recruitment has taken waaaaay to long. I think the problem is, that members that I do see and say hi to, or heal and uber, don't bother to take the time to vote. Selfish? or just busy like the rest of us above the age of 23.
Anyway it goes, i've had easier job interviews for multi-million dollar companies like EA. Now THAT'S sad.
