YES, i got one today and i put my sim card in it.
HOLY CRAP, THIS PHONE IS SICK!!!
i have been waiting a while for it to make it to america, and yet no american carrier is going to sell it (at least not for a while). a friend of mine is a manager at a CompUSA store and for some reason they got a shipment of 5 unlocked ones. they aren't advertising them because they are only selling them to select members. my friend bought one for himself and pulled one aside for me. i picked it up tonight, omg i'm so happy. my mapping might be a day behind because i am playing with my new toy.

it is by far and away the best cell phone on the market (not counting smart phones, those are too different to compare). this is probably the reason that it was released overseas only and america doesn't have it. way more advanced than the current US phones.

rounded edges aside...whats so different about it than a razor? y'know in japan i heard that the razrs were made out of titanium =O and we got el cheapo aluminum  SirCrapsalot: i just got turned down by my e boyfriend SirCrapsalot: oh fuck wrong box 3 rabbits are on a log. everything about it is better then the RAZR. 2 cameras (2mega pixel on the outside for pictures and movies, and a second one inside for video calling). now i can call my buddy from the bathroom and he will get more then just an echo. it has better speakers, way more options. its pretty much a RAZR on steriods. you can also upgrade the internal memory from 128mb (stock), to 512mb. i have also seen firmware updates to take a 1gig sd card. it can also play video (mpeg4 i believe) and tons of other stuff. oh yeah, and it can even make phone calls, lol

Fucking CIngular I got my razr back when they were almost brand new here in the US. Its actually quite stable for a phone of its size, but its features are sub-par, and the screen blanks out for no reason sometimes. Akwardly enough, this happened before I started dropping it onto concrete at work. When I do that, everything works fine. Apparently the new razr is Verizon only, which blows. Just so you guys know, phones in north america suck dick. We get all the garbage that has come out ages ago in Asia or Europe.
Also, motorola kinda sucks.
Nokia, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson are better phones.
