I can understand that you think that your work would fall on a blind audience. Believe me when I say that that's not the case.
The sheer size and strength of the community that you and Sirus have built here is in and of itself a growing, living testament to your efforts. Every post on this forum is feedback. Every idea that grows here is a comment on your creation: this community.
It's stronger than the servers that we frequent, and stronger than the technology and support that drives it. What makes this place special, magical if you will, is the bonds that are created between its individual members. When I am here, among the other members, I feel like I am in a place full of friends. It makes me feel good. It makes me feel welcome and (relatively) safe and trusted.
This is a clan that has eschewed the common elitism so closely tied to the FPS gaming community and has instead ventured to become a place of companionship and camaraderie. This is more than a gaming community, clearly. We still retain a number of active members that have ventured beyond gaming ( or at least the more common games here ) but still find this place to return.
I think that I can speak for the roaring majority of {pDs} members when I say --
Thank you, James. Thank you for creating this corner of the internet, this website, this place of companions, this community. You have made friends in this place, as well as brought us to find our own friends here.
Thank you, Mikhail. Thank you for keeping things working smoothly, allowing us, the members, to communicate and share our own ideas with each other, as thoughts without a medium are hardly thoughts at all.
So yeah. Keep it going.
