It definitely is, the skills certainly change things up, still some things that annoy me like as a gunner, a I can be taken out by a spy who's just stabbing wildly while I pump him full of lead at point blank

......or maybe it's because I just suck :(

What's the hit registration like? Bad hit registration has always plagued Battlefield in the past.

It's ok, needs a bit of work. I don't like the fact that things that should kill you flat out with one hit don't. Headshot with a sniper rifle, nope, point blank face blast with a tank, uh-uh, bundle of TNT or mine right at your feet, no instant death there either...

So is it like all other battlefield games, same gameplay with different looks, or something different?

well theres 3 classes, the gunner, commando, and the solider. Each has their own set of abilities you can upgrade as you level up your soldier. So far there are only a total of 3 vehicles, a jeep, a tank, and an airplane. All the maps are cp and each team as 50 points that tick down based on how many points are held or when players are killed. Though you cant choose where you spawn and vehicles can by on the other side of the map as well. As you play the game you earn valor points which can be used to by slightly better weapons, widgets such as healing items and repair kits. There also battlefunds which you can buy with money. Their purpose is purely cosmetic and only buy different clothing accessories for your soldier
