Why Dice, Why?

For a small group of us who were at just the right time, and just the right place....this is bittersweet news. I loved the original battlefield 1942 and have VERY fond memories of sitting down the first day the Wake island demo was released. Hours were lost playing round after round of probably the best fucking demo ever released in the last 10 years. (Previously held by HL1.) (I still think there are bf 1942 wake island demo servers still running btw)

So maybe you can understand my unusual enthusiasm for bf 1943 even though its not a "new" game in the popular sense. The thought of reliving my Wake island experiences with an enhanced engine and destructible environments, bases, cover, trees, etc. Makes me salivate.... and now i find out that i have to wait almost 3 months more for the PC version than the console versions. FUCK the world is gone crazy. It used to be the other way around....change is scary.
