"On Monday Bethesda announced a new title in the popular Fallout series called New Vegas, set for release sometime in 2010. It's planned for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. They said it wasn't a sequel to the highly-acclaimed Fallout 3, but rather a brand new game set in the same universe, though they confirmed that it will be similar in style to Fallout 3. The new game will be developed by Obsidian Entertainment, a studio containing members of the original Fallout team, which Bethesda's Pete Hines discussed in an interview with Shacknews. The Fallout series also made headlines earlier this week when Bethesda trademarked the name for TV and film"Pretty cool. I think Vegas could be a pretty cool place to do a Fallout game in. Anyone think they might make some sort of way to get to Area 51? This is great news. Chris Avellone, one of the lead designs for Fallout 1 & 2 works for Obsidian, meaning he's going to be working on this. He also did Planescape Torment, and both that and Fallout stood out for me because of the writing and the general atmosphere of the game.
I got my fingers crossed!

I have only played fall out 3 but i love it to death one of the best games to come out in a while besides bio shock another great game, I was hoping they would pick up from fall out 3 but im sure it will be just as good.
