You know classified ads for musicians? Sometimes you'll see two next to each other that correspond? Guitarist looking for drummer, drummer looking for guitarist. But ne'er the 'tween shall meet.

This project aims to fix that for one day.

Pulled together from six different classified ads, the musicians ( none of whom had ever met each other, let alone played together ) came together for one day and recorded a cover of Rocketman. Because everyone likes Rocketman.

One jazz singer
2 indy guitarists
1 acid-jazz-funk drummer
1 electric violinist
1 theremin player

The theremin player in particular wasn't posting seeking a band. This is an ad he maintains simply so that people could come over to his house and listen to him play theremin. Because he rocks it.

This was recorded and dubbed and mastered all in one day. None of the musicians had ever met each other. Enclosed is the result.
