The news said he was at home when it happened. I had initially heard he had a heart attack at Kmart because he heard little boys pants were half off.

I may not agree with everything about his life, but I am still upset that he died. This man revolutionized the entertainment industry and was probably the most recognizable music icon in the world at one point and time. Hell, I'm sure a lot of people who are cheering he's dead once listened to and admired his music or listen to and admire music in which the musicians were directly influenced by Michael Jackson. I just find it a shame that some people have nurtured hate to the point where they're glad someone is dead. What's even worse is that a lot of people establish that hate from the information fed to them by the limited perspective of the mainstream media. I won't go into whether he was guilty or innocent about his scandal, but I just believe it's more honorable to remember someone for their contributions rather than their allegations. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name Jessica343: so I can get heals {pDs} Lead Salad: oh damn good idea {pDs} Lead Salad has changed their name to {pDs} Lead Salad (is a girl) Jessica343: hahah

Don't know if this has been confirmed:
An Emergency Room source at UCLA hospital said Jackson aides told medics he had collapsed after an injection of potent Demerol — similar to morphine.
A Jacko source said: “Shortly after taking the Demerol he started to experience slow shallow breathing.
“His breathing gradually got slower and slower until it stopped.
“His staff started mouth-to-mouth and an ambulance was called which got there in eight minutes “Butfound he was in full respiratory arrest, no breathing and no pulse. They started full CPR and rushed him to hospital.
“When he arrived they started resuscitation, giving him heart shocks and inserted a breathing tube and other supportive measures to try and save his life.

I grew up when he was popular, mostly with kids just a little older than me. I hated him, I still don't particularly enjoy his music. I do think he was a very strange and interesting person and turned into the living embodiment of certain aspects of popculture. Or at least he appeared that way, from what I've heard it sounds like no one really knew him. Besides the whole little boy fetish I think the most fucked up thing Michael Jackson has done was name his children Prince Michael I and Prince Michael II. That is some weird weird shit. I'm betting that all three of his kids are some of the weirdest people on earth. I'm predicting that his death will turn out to have been from suicide, or an "accidental" OD of some kind. Black Michael was awesome, white Michael was just plain weird. I'm pretty sure that Thriller is the number one best selling album anywhere, even in the UK. MJ outsold the BEATLES in their OWN COUNTRY. That has to say something. If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe. - Carl Sagan My Backpack

There wasn't much left about Michael Jackson to begin with, but it's still sad to see someone with his history dead. It's too bad he hasn't been in America much; IIRC he was hiding in some arab country... UAE?... and due to back-taxes and shit Neverland was sold and everything on it. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....
Yes.... Same parents WarMachine wrote:meh...maybe if he hadn't been handed a burning house he could have done great things, but right now he has won the Prize for what? Damage Control?

Brunei actually, at the personal invitation of the Sultan. I think he has spent some time in Dubai as well. They are both places where if you have money and know the right people you can do anything as long as it is not done too publicly. The Sultan and crew literally have harems of sex slaves. In Duabi (and throughout the UAE) they still have child slaves, mostly to race camels but they are being replaced with robots. It's weird fucked up shit and just the place where a weird fucked up person like Michael Jackson could fit in. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

Well on the plus side, my copy of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for the Sega Genny is worth like $200 now. I can't wait until John Madden dies. You wanna take this to Fuck Town? Oh gadzooks, yes!
