I've been watching Firefly on Hulu lately and it is now my favorite sci-fi TV show I have seen. The cast is great, the acting isn't the best ever but it doesn't distract from the story. I'm also a really big fan of the western/steampunk kind of space thing they have going on. I was wondering if anyone else is a fan of Firefly. I saw there is a movie too called Serenity that is based on the season 2 scripts for the show (which only aired for one season.) Any other fans? Any news on anything Firefly-like? -Rumour

I love Firefly. Serenity is a great movie, even by itself. GO WATCH IT NOW!!! :P The movie was made purely from fan-pressure. Joss Whedon, the brilliant mind behind firefly, is a brilliant mind, obviously, as was stated previously. It's absolutely terribly that Firefly was taken off the air; I've seen only the first few episodes but I loved the hell out of them, and Serenity was amazing, too. Whedon, unfortunately, has a terrible track record with the major networks. And Fox just keeps fucking over everything... Dollhouse anyone? IIRC, it got renewed, but only just barely, and last minute. I just re-watched the series and movie a few weeks back with my girlfriend. It was her first time seeing the series, she of course loved it. Everyone seems to love it once they watch it. Too bad Fox is run by evil retards... Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.
