My computer is being eaten alive by a Trojan Horse. Running AVG right now. Cannot get any of my spyware programs to run, even in safe mode. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

i recently had many viruses, worms, and trojans. Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware cleared it all right up. Hopefully it can help you too.

It was a metaphor for reformatting.

Like what they said, it may be a false positive, since its linked to itunes (unless you downloaded itunes from some dodgy/shady place). But if its really acting like a trojan, and you cant remove it through safe mode, you will have to reformat.

Sorry for the double post....

I'm guessing you fixed it? AVG said that in the next definition update, it removed the problem. It was, in fact, a
false positive.
