I am thinking about upgrading to Pandora One because 1: I am getting close to the 40H/m limit, especially now that I have unlimited data on my blackberry. 2: For the increase audio quality. 3. The desktop app so I don't have to even open my browser (a dangerous thing to do when I am trying to get stuff done). And 4(the most important reason): because I really value the service that they provide and I don't want it to go away at some point because cheep bastards couldn't afford $3/month.

What say you?

Go for it. I'd get it just because I love pandora so much. Too bad I'm not. The problem is that practically all my money is going to school now. :(

If you have the dollars I'd recommend it. I upgraded for the dedicated client and the upgraded audio was a welcome surprise since I'm not the biggest audiophile.

I have enjoyed their service for quite some time and have quite a few playlists I've tweaked over teh past year or so.

One thing I'm watching for is Spotify. Currently it's only available in Europe but they are working their way over but I'm not too familiar with the legal obstacles they may have.

As I understand it, spotify is essentially an on demand version of pandora? Makes sense that its not in the US then, "On Demand" fees can be 10X higher than random play in the US.

Either way, it looks good, and I signed up for the news letter.

EDIT: just upgraded, I <3 the improved the sound, its much better than I though it was going to be. I love the desktop client too, though I beta tested it so I already loved it. If you have the means, I highly recommend upgrading.
