I am Former Marine Corp.

My Rank when I left after 4 years was SGT.

My Unit was 1st BN 1st MAR 1st MAR DIV

Traditionaly called the "first of the first" since if you somehow lined up the entire Marine corps for marching we would be at the front.

My particular Company within the 1st battalion was Mutha Fucking WEAPONS Company!

We where the 4th extra company attached to the basic 3 companys (alpha, bravo, charlie).

We had the 81mm mortars. The Dragon/Javelin's. The 50 cals, the TOWs and the MK-19's.

Our deal was to provide support to the infantry battalion and its subordinate elements in the offense and the defence.

On the Sig it would be sweet if it just said {pDs} War aka SGT J.
Also our Platoon moto was "No Love" cause we didnt get any and we didnt give any.

(its what my platoon called me short for Sgt. Johnson)

Thanks man.

I just heard some sad news yesterday also. I didnt check my email on my B-Day the day prior but it turns out a friend of mine from the company I worked with over there in Afghanistan died in his sleep in Kabul. He was former Rodesian Army. He was just under 60 but smoked heavily. He seemed fine when I left the company some 2 odd months ago.

He's was one of those old guys that has a bunch of awsome stories that you dont mind listen to. I for one will definately miss him.

His name was Colin Mason.

I don't recall approving that seal,

War, I just wanted to say that I'm thankful for McDonald's $1.99 ten piece chicken nugget deal. Shit is delicious.

At the risk of upsetting the boss, he fought a fucking war, he needs no man's approval.
