Hey I found a new hobby other than TF2, blasphemy I know. How it will fit in with a full time job, school and gaming I do not know. However does anyone know anything about finding, drilling a ball? I detect furrys laughing....

Go to your local pro shop. Most alleys have a shop inside. Talk to the guys there. They can usually drill there and will have information for you on what kind of ball to get. I've looked at buying crawdad a bowling ball a time or two - they are pricey, though. Also keep in mind that your bowling style will affect which type of ball/holes you should get. Hmm, you seem to know a lot about balls. (sorry, couldn't resist) "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like ... victory"

Silver, if I had to guess of any hobby you would have found, I never would have guessed bowling. If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe. - Carl Sagan My Backpack

Me neither but it is much better than its public image puts it up as. O yay a buncha old farts throwing balls down wood lanes...wahoo....But no think this way. Hanging out with the bros chuggin some alchohol (I dont like that part) hurling 16 pound weights at innocent little pins... Well i guess either way it sounds the same lol. It is very fun though. I actually just bought a ball. This game requires a lot of skill to play well and lets just say that I don't have it all yet...

Just use the ones at the bowling alley? I've only know one person that's ever bought their own ball and I know a lot of people who bowl semi-often.

I got decent at bowling once....a long time ago. Almost bought a ball. When you get into it you really really start to hate the bowling ally public balls because they are always in shit condition and have huge gouges and pocks in them that can throw off your spin. You also have to fight ppl for one drilled correctly so you dont tear your fingers and hand up playing. Defiance wrote:Need to know something about balls? Well I would ask giller of course.
