Turning the focus toward harder techno and house influences, the latest full-length DJ mix from DJ Midnight throbs with darker energy and zealous servitude to sound. 30 minutes in, I love the style change, followed by the reversion to a previous song at a fast tempo. Diggin this one. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

They're all on the site linked to in OP. I've had some of the Sessions removed because they suck. You didn't want them. Everything else is happy quality. Safety + Peace

So I thought I'd bump this to note that I got a crap ton of DJ Mystik stuff (if you don't remember him from way back when, every wannabe techno artist used to release under his name on Kazaa/Napster to gain popularity... but I've got the stuff off his actual CDs.) Anyways, he's got a mix of Mad World on there. What the fuck, how many mixes of this shit are there? My favorite is still Tears for Fears.... but besides that what the shit? And help me find some mixes of Don't Stop Believin'. Computer needs more. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

HolyJaw wrote:http://delta62.com/midnight.php?page=1 Yeah. The sessions are dance music. The excursions are play-at-your-own-risk whatever. sessions 12-19 are pretty solid, imo. genre breakdown is as follows 12: drum and bass (lower quality files, sounds kind of garbo in retrospect, but it's a fan favorite, one of the most downloaded) 13: big beat (fatboy slim, chemical brothers, junkie xl, prodigy, one of my favorites) 14: vocal house (funky, soulful vocals. girls like this one) 15: hard house (starts w/ junkie xl then moves to hard house and hardNRG) 16: breaks (very eclectic, and the shortest of my mixes, I also like this one a lot) 17: hard house (better mixing than 15, better sound, awesome for playing Killing Floor) 18: various house styles (starts with calmer, upbeat, moves to bounce, then trance, then electro) 19: drum and bass (higher quality files, top40 mashups, also one of my favorites, very fast and very fun) all the mixes before that don't stick to any one genre and (imo) suffered for it. but content is content, so I leave them up. Some are mixed better than others, but the more recent sets show a definite improvement in my abilities. The older ones that I still like are sessions 2,7, and 9 Safety + Peace
