Side note on MW2, I have played a few special ops games with Capt. Keyes. My favorite moment so far is playing the one, not sure the name, where one person is in the helicopter and the other is on the ground. The objective is to fight through the neighborhood and get to the extraction point on a restaurant roof top. I was no help in the chopper since I kept killing him on the ground so we switch. He is cutting me a path and we move ever so slowly. Fighting all the way with close calls, etc. I finally make it to the roof top. As I race to the chopper to get out of there with just about 10 feet left to go, Capt. Keyes sees that I am being chased. He opens fire. One small problem. I am betweenthe chopper and the enemy.
He was left to write a nice note to my family about how I died heroically in a very important battle that could possibly win the war.

We are playing the snow drift sniper mission, where you have to evade and snipe the patrols with dogs. Cecil and I make it about halfway through, crawling on our bellies through the thick snow. We see 2 soldiers ahead, "Ill get the left, you get the right. 3...2...1...thump!" Both soldiers fall to the ground simultaneously. We move up to the ridge they were standing on. Down the drift below, about 40 meters ahead is a large patrol with some dogs. "Lets wait here till they pass" "Oh wait there is a straggler! Cecil you take him!" As i spot down range and watch for the expectant arterial spray I hear this strange thump just to my right. Then i hear Cecil say sheepishly: "oh....uh...uh-oh." I come out of scope and look to my right and in the snow about 3 feet from me is a grenade just cooking a hole in the ice. We both run around the tree and "KAAAA FUCKINGG BOOM" it goes off! For about 2 whole seconds there is dead silence and a glimmer of hope shot through me thinking "Maybe they didnt hear that?" Which was dashed quickly as all the alerted patrols start running over guns blazing. Right before we died I gave my last radio message:' "Cecil you idiot, next time use your silenced grenade!" LoLs ensue as we are gunned down mercilessly. Quote:
