Hey thanks. They did not play as well as I had hoped, but national champions nonetheless.

Grats 'bama.

It was pretty exciting up until 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter....Big 12 emotional rollercoaster for sure.

I feel sorry for the Longhorns' QB. The game of his life, and he has to sit it out because of an (unnecessary) heavy tackle that probably ended his football career. For the rest of his life that kid's going to be thinking to himself "what if I handed the ball off" or "what if I turned the other way on that hit?"

Alabama winning the championship (yay) was overshadowed by that, personally.

I disagree. Sure, it sucks that he he had to sit this game out, but if his injury is recoverable (which I am betting it is), he'll be going to the NFL. He'll be screwing supermodels and getting paid millions to play football in the future. As far as the hit goes, it wasn't unnecessary. There was nothing foul or dirty with that hit and he even said he's taken that hit many, many times in his career. It just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Colt McCoy has a bright future despite him having to sit out. I feel worse for that freshman QB that had the whole world riding on his shoulders at such a premature time in his career.

Basically, what bike said.

He got a stinger, albeit a REALLY bad one, but he's just fine. He didn't play anymore because his coaches and dad wanted to protect his almost assured NFL future.

Congratulations, indeed! A well played season for your team. As for those who think Boise State could hold their own against Alabama (or Texas for that matter), I give you this perfect quote I heard on a sports show yesterday, "No matter how good the JV team looks, they'll never beat the Varsity team." :)

It is a shame that Colt didn't get to play, I hope his shoulder heals quickly and he has a successful career in the NFL. I'm proud of the young back-up QB, I think he has a successful college career ahead of him! I hope he sucks against my team though. :)

One last thing... Ingram=WOW! He is hard to stop! I see why he won the Heisman!

Congratulations to you and your team, Razor! :)

Ingram is a workhorse. He is just a sophmore so we should have him for at least another year. Richardson is just a freshman and I think he will be better than Ingram.
