...yep, I just got fired. I knew my company was on thin ice, but it still hurts. I have a lot of friends there and saying goodbye stings... Ah well...who wants to shoot some people tonight with me? Sorry to hear about both your job setbacks. It's a good time to go to school to get additional training. What happened with your plans for nursing school Titanium? I think Razor would look good in a nurse outfit too. Candystripes instead of pinstripes. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like ... victory"

been unemployed since september. finding a job in seattle is really fuckin hard right now. especially since my only experience is gardening and hydrologic computer modelling.. prospective employers seem to think that even though I can accurately simulate the Tennessee river, working a cash register is probably too hard for me to learn and would end up costing them too much. and also the school thinks I or my parents make enough money to pay just under half my tuition even though I don't.. so now I have to prove to them how poor I am next week in order to get more money. If they don't believe me I get to go into debt and drop out of school yay!

Hey, thanks for the encouraging words Giller, Mrs C, Cheney, Horus, Lead, War and Super Pengi - you guys are too kind. :) And Virus: Duck and I are going to be moving somewhere (we don't know exactly where just yet!) at the end of July/August, so I've put Nursing school on hold for the time being (but I will DEFINITELY finish my degree! Too much time and energy invested in it to just walk away!). Duck and I are getting married May 1st, 2011 and he'll be about half-way through his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at that point. Hopefully I'll be working as a phlebotomist, lab assistant, surgeical technician, medical assistant or what have you during that time.
