The other day i attempted to shut down my computer only to be told that Windows was trying to close a program preventing shutdown... something called [AAA](random crap)remotedesktopcapture.exe or something like that. I only saw it for a second or so and can not remember the entire thing. Anyone know what is going on here?

Is your computer on a network?
It sounds like an image logger used to monitor activity on individuals on a network . Big brother at work or someone else interested in what you are doing.

That is the weird thing... I am the only computer on my network. It is on my pc at home. There is no one I can think of that would want to see what i am up to other than my father.... The router has a firewall as does the comp, v protection ect...

P.S. Although if he could somehow gain access to the computer the program could be written to bypass all barriers..

there is a free program called "hijack this" that will show you every process running on your comp. Maybe it can help you figure it out.

Spybot, Adaware, Housecall, etc. It's probably some spyware of some sort.
