Change is only a matter of weeks now. We're moving officially. As soon as llenta finishes porting the maps, and the HL2CTF team releases their next version (making all DM maps compatible for domination mode) we're moving to hl2ctf. This transition will be difficult. It will be up to you guys to get games going. It will be up to you to spread the word to our non-pds players. The future of this server rests in your hands.
I will be talking to Sirus about implimenting some Tomb Specific mods for hl2ctf as soon as the new ctf version is released.
Perks about next version of hl2ctf:
Bombs don't crash the server
Sentry guns award kills to those who set them up
You can shoot while carrying the flag
Three new weapons
Powerups.
Those are just some of the perks to look forward to. If you haven't downloaded the game yet, please do so and check it out!

woot woot...i must say i love this mod and i think its a awsome move to go ctf...i belive that it is just better all around espically the graphics...they r amazing...and shooting wiht the flag is a good perk too...but for all of u poeple who think its not that good give it some time and ull like it. I like what you guys put while I was away, but I think it was best that I changed it.

So what's the status on any admin programs? Do we have mani already installed, or is it even possible to use with CTF?

Once again: It's Tomb V2. Anything that was a fan favorite will be in the new one. Mani is already up and running and all the tomb admins are there.

just out of curiosity, does it do this on this version or is this something that will happen in their next release.
the reason i ask is because when i am porting the maps, i'm not using the sentry guns that the CTF team uses, i am using the guns that were already in the maps and just making sure that they work in the new mod. i'm guessing that for you to get the kills from the guns, i will have to change the guns and release new versions of the maps i already made. if anybody else knows the answer to this, let me know so that i can change what i'm doing (if needed) for the rest of the maps.

It's in the new version. Also, I've noticed with your sentry guns... they don't shoot... they blast lasers.

yes, that was me doing something different on the maps i personally built. a personal touch if you like. when the new version is released from the CTF team, i will modify all the maps so that people get the kills.

Did you ever check out that toybox mr. llenta???? There are some turrets in there that you can pick up and place and man and they fire lasers and you can change there colors and there is one that is an electro gun and there are magic wands and they might be cool on a ctf map and then and then and then and no and then You wanna take this to Fuck Town?
