You aren't supposed to place the installer in your sourcemods folder. You're supposed to run the installer and point it to your sourcemods folder so it copies all the files from the installer into the sourcemods folder. Holy crap.
Can anyone say... "LOL!"
Look, I need someone to help Nova install hl2ctf... I am apparently doing a miserable job explaining it to him.

your lucky, i forgot to close steam when i installed it and it didnt work. good thing i remembered and closed it and re-installed it.

If you install the game with steam running... it will still work. Just need to reboot it.

Ehhhh... I never closed Steam. And it worked. Well, my pc hasn't blown up yet, anyway
