I have an evga 790i sli ultra and have a gtx 570 and was wanting to use my old gtx 260 as a phyix card but every time i plug the card in and plug it into the psu all that happens is it keeps rebooting about ever 4-5 secs, i have a 1000 watt psuand i have tried the 2nd pci-e slot and the 3rd pci-e slot. does anyone know why its not working? Also im using win 7. WDF?: I found a hot girl WDF?: Who lets me WDF?: Drink WDF?: Smoke WDF?: And play video games WDF?: ALL DAY shignog: and in the back door? WDF?: She's back door compatible WDF?: And it comes enabled by default WDF?: I need to teach sirus a lesson WDF?: Oh wait WDF?: That's called gay shignog: if there is a girl there its bi WDF?: lol WDF?: ok shignog: so its not so gay WDF?: Good enough

No i just like to run everything at max settings for the eye candy. It might not be true anymore, but I seem to recall not all cards being compatible with each other back in the day, and they recommended SLI'ing same-type cards. There's probably more compatibility now-a-days, but maybe still some exceptions.
