After countless downtimes, system breakdowns, shit blowing up.
My personal 3rd Generation PC is in the works.
Unfortunately I don't recall much of my 1st Gen PC, I think it was a 700 Ghz processor, 512 megs of ram, nVidia GeForce 6400, 20 gigs HD, I only remember it was an asus mobo
2nd Gen PC, was a single core 2 GHz processor (My first OC which I manage to get it to a 2.8), 1 gig of ram, nVidia 7 series vid card (can't remember exactly) which was later upgraded to SLi dual nVidia 9500 GT's. nForce 4 SLi asus mobo (which after a good 5/6 years of hard service had the south bridge chip fried on me, 75 gig HD @ 10,000 RPM's, and lastly a 250 gig HD. Once the mobo died on me I was with no rig and stuck with a laptop that couldn't run any games due to the lack of video card power. Thanks to 1 of you (sorry I forgot) was kind enough to sell me a P5N-SLi mobo with an intel dual core 1.8 GHz processor and 2 gigs of ram. This is the setup that I'm using up to today, which now again I'm having problems with. Its most likely the 10,000 RPM HD (where my windows is installed) is nearing the end of its life cycle as its having such a hard time to boot up with a boot disk failure error. I'm also only using a single 9500 GT card since the 2nd one no longer works in SLi
That and the fact I'm still using a duo core not even at 2 GHz and only 2 gigs of ram, I have never been able to truly dish out the graphics on any games made after 2008.
Finally the up and coming 3rd Gen PC
AMD Bulldozer 8 core 3.1 GHz processor, 16 gigs of ram, nVidia GTX 670, HAF X full tower case, 750 Watt PSU, Crucial SSD 128 Gigs, WD 2 TB Green HD, Logitech G110 keyboard, Fatal1ty Gaming Headset (current mic was a POS where I always get complains about being in a wind tunnel due to my fan).
The only part I will transfer from my 2 Gen PC to my 3rd will be the DVD Drive, since the PC comes with 1 already I will have 2 burners.
P.S. I never got the back plate for the mobo ...
