The CTF scoring system sucks, can someone at least add kills plz

because it encourages stat whoring and the like, that's why it is as it is, so people go for the flags. It's CTF, the emphasis being on capping the flags and teamwork, not indiviual skills. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

Even though I miss seeing how many kills i have. I do think its a better ranking system because if you want a high score you actually have to do something to get it instead of camping around. MakeSureItsCharcoalGrilled wrote: "Craps Alert"

its easy to tell how many kills you have. just subtract.
5 points for every flag cap (which for most people is 0)
1 point for every return
1 point for every assist
then that will be how many kills you have. i'm not seeing how this helps the stat whores because you don't get points unless you cap the flag youself.

Just type "statsme" into chat. That'll give you a total amout of what you've been doing. And i think you get a point or two for defending the flag carrier aswell. TerribleNate wrote:Fuck nice... just out of curiosity, does the server ranking include the points for flag caps and assists and such into the rank, or is it only kill:death?
