So I'm surfing newegg and see this dual core athlon for cheaper than I bought my 3700+ for, is it any good? I might be able to sell some shit and cash in on a nice dual core if it is.

I've heard in some cases dual core affects game performance, I've also noticed that amd processors are dirt fuckign cheap now, the proc i bought for 215 is down to 115, it dropped a hunned bux

Hey I have a dual core 3800 it works great man! My computer can be doing a full system scan and still play HL2 with no problems.

The processor is good Its the processor that NotTheFace is running in the computer I got her Though personally I would get the 4200+ since its being run on the x11 multiplier rather than the x9 of the 3800, quite easier for me to overclock with my ram
