Ok, so I was looking around for something really slick and different to do to my case and I stumbled on a site that had little 7'' lcd monitors for pretty cheap. What I want to do is (if it fits, i still need dimensions from the stupid site) mount a small lcd monitor to the front of my pc where there is currently 2 empty 5.25 bays. The monitors have vga plugs that I could run an extension through my box out the back and into my vid card, but they use a regular ass 12v dc plug to power. Is there any adaptors that would take a plug from my power suply and turn it into the little plug that the monitor uses. Also, how easy would it be to set up the monitor as a second display so I could put something dumb on it while doing stuff? D. Sharp TerribleNate wrote:Fuck nice... As for mounting the LCD on the front of your computer, I'm pretty sure thats going to take a bit of work depending on your case. Youre going to have to find a way to put it on those drive bays without falling off. You can always just be ghetto and duct tape it on  As for the power, I'm pretty sure it wouldnt be a good idea to plug the LCD to your power supply. Since it uses a 12V AC adapter, it'd have to be run off one of your molex connectors, and I doubt that'd be enough to power it (even if it could it'd probably stress your PSU like hell). You're probably better running the wire through the back of your comp, and make sure to get a really long cable for it! And for your question about dual screening, since you've got an Nvidia card you can go into properties and have it as a second monitor and extend your desktop onto it. Though it is quite annoying sometimes because if you move your mouse too far to the right, it'll end up on the small LCD.
