I just thought that you guys should know that I will be starting sea trials with the ship and will be in and out of port for the next 6-8 months. If anyone would like to write to me while im on the ship you can send it to
bodem@nimitz.navy.mil. Or you could just put your message here so I have to wait to talk to all you guys when I get back. The internet on the ship has 2 satelite connections, both running at T-3 speeds or greater, but the crew only see's about 1/2% of that, in other words, "ITS SLOW AS FREAKIN DOG SHIT". And thats if it works at all at those speeds. Anyway, just thought that I'd let you guys know where Im going to be, but where I've been is the real question now isn't it. I have been working on the ship damn neer non stop now, working those 12-18 hour work shifs per day so when I do get off and am able to get back to my appartment, all I want to do is take a shower and go to bed. This has been going on for the past month now. I finnaly caught a break today and only had to work an 8 hour shift. So I decided to send you guys a little message. Anyways, wish me luck out there. I'll try and keep everyone up to date as to whats really going on in the world, minus the classified materials.
