I would like to thank all of the players that came out on the Tomb tonight. If you missed it, it was one of the best pedestal games I have ever seen, GG everyone.

I caught the last 5 minutes of that round, but it was sure fun as hell. When everyone left it was me, AiBakMoe, and wonderwoman on dirtwork and 2fort. It was them two agaisnt me for dirtwork. Little did I know wonderwoman was freaking leg. To make the story short, I got my ass handed to me in more ways than one, even when AiBakMoe switched for 2fort. we got tossed like a salad - a salad that tasted bad.

Wow...leg is wonderwoman? God...annoying as hell with that "wonderwoman" after every kill thing. If you dominate that much there's no need to rub it in people's faces so much, especially when they suck...  I missed last night damnit. I was testing my friends map out and watching TV....why do I have to miss the good nights...abd the damned 2fort! AHHH! A good 1x1 would have to be leg vs. Aka slavetomypc... if he is still around... or mabye there the same person... But any who slave, or even harry, they may not beat him but it would be snazzy... mabye a [sa.fr} fella might stand a chance.  Dats my ride

Oh man, I second that. I must say that was THE best game of CTF I have ever been involved in. It was straight 30 mins of intense, well matched, explosive fun. It was neck and neck the whole way, and with 10 seconds to go the score was tied at 18. Some damn Combine scored literally at the last second for teh win, possibly TP :) . Anyways, pedestal, and variations of it, should come around in the rotation more frequently...in fact...we should be a pedestal server....mwhaha.... From what I've seen (I could be very wrong), I think a good match would be between leg and [aKa] Ghost, or [SA.fr] Diablo. But so far I haven't seen anyone match the skill of leg. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name

Well, it was headed that way tonight, and then we got to the tunnel-football level. Then everyone dropped off the sevrer like flies. It was like at least 7-8 on 7-8 for most of pedestal and the beginning of that map, but i was making dinner, so i missed what happened. But, we got some good games tonight regardless. It also doesn't help that a lot of people on then didn't know it was a football map. It turned the whole thing into a much slower-paced game and thus wasn't quite as fun. I have to agree, lose the airbrust and power-up the xbow on this map. The xbow is what made this map fly.

I don't think it is though (per-map weapon dmg changes), at least not without some serious modding. If it ever becomes possible we could bring back some of my favorite old Tomb-style action on some of the "classic" maps (namely the football ones). I've grown to enjoy the hl2ctf setup a lot (and feel like an ass for whining so much when we first switched0 but still fiend for the insane xbow action when we play on maps that don't have the same action-packed gameplay without the old xbow (mostly the football maps).
