Even though leg was pwning everyone out there, I had a ton of fun. If you missed last night, again, you missed out on some fast paced, hardcore CTF. I honestly thought our pedestal match would end by timelimit for sure. I missed a potion of the match, because I was starting to get a headache from the last map, and the CARNAGE on this map was incredible. I made two demos. One is an overview, and one is leg...destroying the server with a 20,000 pt total.... It really seems, as mentioned in other threads, that the Tomb is truly picking up pace. I too, have noticed the lack of emptiness the Tomb has had. Yeah, great night of gaming last night, there have been some great matches the last few nights. When everyone left I did a 1v1 against leg and I think I managed to kill him once. Peace joined me in the next map, and it made no difference. Leg is just an incredible player( I think leg is actually a secret government super computer).

I am very glad to hear that everyone is happy and that things are going well. Over the last week or so I have been working hard to fine tune the map cycle to as sharp of an edge as I can get it. I have been bringing in the fast paced action maps, working with our fledgling mapping community to get their ideas developed and out there. I have also been working hard to identify any holes in the cycle that we have been running here and getting those either improved or eliminated. What I am referring to as holes are maps that are either poorly made or badly designed that cause our crowd to basically fall out of the hole in the bottom and disappear on us. I am always open to feedback on the cycle or any issues with any of the maps we have here. It is what I am here for to get this stuff taken care of.
I am also going to start activly recruiting mappers to the forums to help us grow what we have started there. It gives us new and exciting stuff to put on the Tomb. I am evisioning the mapping thread to become sort of like our own little artist community of starving mappers all working on good stuff together in order toget there time in the spotlight on our stage (Tomb) I will be working on a regular column in the news section to get Tomb info our there and to spotlight what some of our mappers are up to at the moment.
These are just some of the things I have been working on lately and there are so many more ideas on the way that I cannot get them all listed right here right now. Just take my word for it that this is just gonna keep getting better and better.
All right .. back to work i go.. must keep my isp fed so that I continue to hang out here. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

I watched leg play for about 20 minutes the other night - he is absolutely insane. Besides his incredible aim he manages to maximize his speed almost constantly. From what I saw it looked like he tends to follow very specific patterns, at least on 2fort_lite or whatever map that was. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

Move them into your sourcemods/hl2ctf folder- Boot up the game- Open the console- type playdemo Hit space and a list of them in your folder should appear in the dropbox, just hit down to the one you want to watch, hit enter, and watch. Ata anytime in console type "Stop" and it will end If hitting space doesn't show anything, just type the exact filename.
