Well here we go again back into the world of DM. Back to the world where PDS made its fame and fortune.
Nova, Dragon, White Boy... and all of our other little PDS nomads out there who could never play CTF for this reason or that.. You guys have a home again..
Oh yes.. the bows will return.. PDS cannot have a DM server without the bows can we...
All of the old map favorites will return.. I just need to go back out there and collect em up again... There are a few new things that have come around since we left that I am very interested in seeing here.. Of course I am always open to feedback from you guys.. I am especially looking to the people who have been wandering DM land while we have concentrated on CTF.
I do so have big plans for this place.. It will just take a little time to get the cobwebs swept out of the corners.
BTW all current Tomb admins have been added here as well.. now that we have two hangouts to patrol instead of one I think we will be looking at adding more REAL soon.

is the crypt going to be a dm style play are a ctf style of play? if it is ctf style of play, do you want me to make a hl2dm version of my new level for the crypt?

those levels are easy to get for hl2dm, there are links to them somewhere on this forum i think. i don't think kusa did any upgrades to them since the last time that we played them because i think he gave up mapping.

These maps will definately be there.. GU has links to new version where he fixed the detpak issue .. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

Yes but there will be a mix of maps ... tending to the ctf side of course cause we are who we are..

*Raises Hand* I have a ton of maps that I know will rock that server. Just played and that two map thing got annoying, but we packed it 8 and 8 so once it's fully running it'll be the shit. We gonna go CTF/DM, just DM, just CTF or what??? I mean for CTF- we have the CTF server lmao. Anyways, yeah, I can give you 'dem nice maps if you want?  And I think I'll be able to start playing for about an hour or two every night now! Yay for dividing time between CTF and DM! WOOO! YAWN! Damn work.. Anyway I dont know if Whut said anything but I came rushing home to get started again and found a Norton Virus alert on my home computer. I let the kid look for a product key and I think he jumped right on serials.com or whatever the name of it is. (good example of what its nice to be legal) I am running a full system scan to be sure i am clean before I start moving files again. I had intended to run this earlier but my old man butt fell asleep before I could get er done. Anyway the scan is running now and and soon as I can be assured of a clean bill of health I will get things moving again..
FIrst and foremost I see GIvepeace has gone and done my job for me.. Pesky kids Seriously though.. Thank you very much for the help Givepeace I will still have more than enough to keep my hands full tonight.
I will get that admin file updated as soon as it is safe for me to touch stuff.
Whut has been experimenting with the new detpak maps and there still may be issues.. I will get this figured out as soon as possible but the detpak maps may be put off for the moment. This small setback will not slow us down here.. although I may be locking the crypt later to experiment with other detpak maps.
I am also returning Nova to the admin list for the crypt. He was only removed from CTF admin because he could not play that game. Others that were removed for the same reason are more than welcome on the Crypt just let me know if you are still interested.

i think i'm the only mapper that understands the detpack here. i spend about a month a while back studying it so when i get some time, i might be able to look at it and see if i can fix the crashing problem. what you might do is jump onto one of [GU] servers and then use their copy of the map since i think kusa fixed it there.

I have since blown the detpak on all the maps on the crypt that have it (which are Kusa's new ones) and it worked fine everytime. Since the crashed happened for Whut though I will have to say that maybe the issue is only intermittant now so I will not worry too much about it for the time being.
As for Crypt maps though does anybody know where to find Murdy's links to his newest versions. I have the maps from before but I dont know if he has updated them since we lst did the DM thing or not.. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy
