Playing all those dmctf maps was really cool. I was wondering what would be a kick ass setting for a ctf map?? I think a map set inside a shopping mall would offer some cool gameplay. You wanna take this to Fuck Town?

or a 7-11 killbox, or better yet a baseball field with oversized baseballs with nothing but melee weapons

Hmm for baseball it'd be nice to have a pitcher's mound and some bases(still not sure about this though)... For now we use barrels as baseballs(lol) since they are somewhat easy to hit, but maybe some other objects can work... Map only needs either crowbar or stunstick, I heard stunstick is more powerful but not sure myself. What we do right now is, play on pedestal_tomb, pitcher is on his own team flag, and hitter is on same level as crossbow(that bridge). When hitter actually hits the barrel (one that is pitched) he grabs the flag where pitcher is and goes to cap it. Rule is, you can only stop that cap by killing the hitter (or runner now) with a barrel (since that's the only object in that leve).
I don't know if 4 bases will work... Since this idea is still somewhat "new." For now all I can say is the map should only have 1 weapon, gravity gun, and objects to use as baseballs.

If we host a GMOD server, a baseball map would be no problem. In fact, There are baseball bat models that can be used to hit the ball models. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name
