Actually this problem has been around for hl2mp since it's release.
In any event, I've tried a couple new things today... according to the crash log the server hasn't crashed yet so I'm not sure if it's working or not. If it crashes and restarts, you'll know it worked.

Chipper little nipper arent ya with the Crypt on an extended crash and people floating back over to the Playhouse where they used to hang out..

Try this program out on server. It is for Windows. Goto http://www.dumbclan.co.uk/downloads/serverchecker/ that program automatically disables windows error notification. I used that for whenever I hosted (single or multiple servers) and it always worked (I run WinXP Pro). Hopefully it will work for you guys too
