when i try to connect to the crypt or redemption I get disconnected before it even loads the graphs for the map

Error: Client timed out.

Its only happening on wdf servers an I know I dont break the ping limit (I usually average 30-45 ping) very frusturating as I was asked to kick some troublemakers and I couldn't get on to help :(

I'm having a similar problem. Or maybe similar. I connect and then it's like I lose connection - it just sort of sits there with me warping around. Other people are playing fine, and I was playing fine earlier too. Usual fixes aren't working. I thought it might be related to the recent installation of my 7600GT since that's the only change on my system, but it only happens on the crypt so it's not that.

EDIT: Nevermind, turns out I'm getting severe packet loss. Fucking windstorm knocked a tree into my neighbors cable connection and ripped it from the box, must have done some damage in the pole when it came out. Must now deal with comcast :(
