There have been a few coffee house incidents.
One time someone asked him for his autograph and he announced very loudly that "I can't because if I gave you my autograph then I'd have to give EVERYBODY HERE MY AUTOGRAPH!"
Of course nobody was even noticing him. He's quite full of himself, which is sad because he used to be "Uncle Bill" to me and my brother. I grew up on the set and the crew was my family.
James McKenna IV is my dad. He Created/Produced/Directed/Wrote the show.
You can see me in a few episodes. My favorite is when I played Young Bill Nye in the Smell episode... or the Flubber promo thing we did on ABC when I was young bill and blew up a house.

Being a celebrity, even one as b-list as this guy, would really piss me off. Everywhere youd go, someone would be like "HEY ITS THAT ONE GUY FROM THAT ONE SHOW! OMGZ AUTOGRAPH PRZ!!" That said, he didnt have to be such an ass about it either. B-list is like, Drew Barrymore and Charlie Cheen. Bill Nye would probably be D- or E-list, if those exist. The only way you would recognise this guy is if you saw his stupid show in one of your elementary or middle school science classes, if you were a teacher, or if you are some damnable parent who forces your kids to watch PBS. Or if you watched that stupid show where they built robots to fight eachother.
