I am building a site for a small publishing company who needs a method of getting user's credit card information without worry of ppl stealing it off the site.
so, how would i go about encrypting a small message and send it to a email acct decrypted??
or do i do a paypal thing or do i bite the bullet and use one of those expensive credit card gateways?

For $49, you can get yourself set-up with a credit card sales gateway..... check it out: http://www.2checkout.com/cgi-bin/aff.2c?affid=29173 ....I've been with them for about 3 years and not had any problems.
*OR* you can accept payments via paypal or credit card with your paypal account.

ive done alot of online pruchases so from my experience as a consumer Id stray from paypal. It is kind of a hastle and does not look very professional. Credit Card gateways are definantly pleaseing to the eye and fast. Id say neteller but its not nearly popular enough for you to use it as a business. So as long as the credit card gateways arent super expensive go with that.
