When I first got my new monitor it came with DVI-D cables, since my PCs video card has a slot for that cable I decide to use that instead of the traditional hookup, but once I turn it on everything is in a yellowish color tone and I dont know why.
Same thing happend with my component cables that don't show a proper image and come up yellowish when the DVD player is hooked up to the TV using component cables. Anyone know a solution or at least explain why it happens? ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

so you have your monitor hooked thru dvi and yer tv hooked up thru the RCA-yellow video cable and both come out of yer GPU?
did you try to use the old cable on your new monitor? maybe yer gamma settings are set weird for your other outputs? did you make sure the plugs are in all the way and screwed tight? sometimes if theyre loose, one or two of the colors won't come thru and yewl get like all blue, all red or all yellow or a combo of two.
update the gpu drivers and see if that does anything.
