All DoD admins are now being required to sit in Ventrilo and flag any issues that the DoD players are facing in the server. This will prevent the offending player in question from being let on that they are being watched, as well as improve communication between admins and players in an attempt to keep confusion down. Emotions are much easier expressed via voice communication. The Ventrilo client and info can be found in the pds forums. Please utilize this service.
This is open to both pDs and non-pds members. Again, the Ventrilo client is available for download in the pDs public forum.

Please remember to only idle in that channel if:
A. You're an admin.
B. A player requesting assistence
Everyone else should keep the room clear for those who need it. Use the General Chat channel to talk about bullshit.

would it not be better to sit in there so we can be contacted if needed? half the time people don't think to go out of thier way to see if admins are online when they post the shit. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

i have a problem using your version of vent, i use another version so i think it messes it up. im on xfire all day though  King of Jeans I wanna be like Buddylee 007 for life

I've addressed this in multiple threads. You simply install it to a different directoy. I have both the latest vent version and the one I'm hosting. It's pretty simple.

ya, i did it, and it crashed my computer....twice
when i extract it, it renames to ventrilo-2.1.4-Windows-i386. any thoughts? King of Jeans I wanna be like Buddylee 007 for life

Works like a charm for me, all you really have to do is download what WDF instructed, open the file and run the exe. There really isnt anything to install. Just take the folder, cut it into a directory of your choice and place a shortcut to run the program then you should be all set. Also dont forget to uncheck the box on the program to not auto update.
