I think my planet is the size of a tennis ball cos the fields are at 52/66.
What happens to the planet when the fields are all used up!
Do you delete it an move on? Any Ideas?

you can either, save up and build a terraformer, which uses up energy and gives you extra fields, but these area ridiculously expensive and can only really be gotten in the late game. Most people tend to just use small field colonies as staging posts, or just use them to pay for another colonyship and eventually destroy them to make way for a new one like you say. BAsically you want your colonies to be in around the 250+ field area if you want them as keepers. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

I have three colonies now the third is only 88 fields,( do they get much smaller than 50 fields).

After first only getting a 88 field planet, I striked gold and got a huge ass 315 field planet ;). Right next to the pDs system.
HomePlanet- Dom 3:35:11 163 fields
Colonies-
Da Chill Zone 3:28:10 88 fields
Ice Ice Baby 5:382:5 315 fields
Heat Repeat!!!

i dont fucking belive it!! how small does a planet get ! 25 measley fields this is my 4 th colony and not one over 88 fields! fucking midget planets.

1st: slot 14, 117 fields 2nd: slot 10, 66 fields 3rd: slot 7, 158 fields 4th: slot 9,187 fields 5th: slot 3, 59 fields not the worst draw i guess, but nothing spectacular among them yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
