The planet I set up to jump pariah with in gal 4 153 has served its purpose well. However it is only 50 fields in size and now that Pariah is gone it does not seem like it would be wise to make my usual investments in it like I have made in my other planets. That being said I have noticed that some people here have destroyed colonies and have then come back and rebuilt in the exact same spot. My question is can a planet size be different a second time around than it was the first time? If I blow this one up and then come back and recolonize the same spot would it be possible that field size would be different?

Field size is random every time so yes, you could get 250 fields next time.  Not likely but...

I have 2 colonies with 210+ fields. Had to blow one up because it was only 120 and i knew i could get 220+ with that slot.
