Anyone know how to convert a .mdf file into something like a .csv or even a plain old .xls - I have a file taken from a MS-SQL 2005 Embedded install - I want to convert it into something human readable so I can extract a bit of data out of it by hand, it's a total bitch though. Can't find anything that knows what to do with the stupid file, and it's huge so each thing I try tends to eat up a lot of time just getting the damn file loaded into memory so that it can fail on me and I try the next thing. The obvious: I tried the DTS function in Enterprise Manager and there is no option for .mdf, the closest is an ODBC to a SQL Server but I have the godamned file LOCALLY, there is no ODBC and there is no SQL Server!  I've googled like a mofo and can't find anything helpful, some people report converting into Access somehow but I can't find any explanation about how the fuck they did it and I'd rather avoid Access if possible.
