OK - so for those of you that have been playing a while - how do we do a moonshot?  I understand that we need an large number of ships to create a DF, but how do we do it?  Do we get several players to ACS Defend while others ACS Attack?  Do we need the GO's permission to use players of different ranks (no pushing)?  What kind of ships make the best fodder?

Oh yeah - and which planet in Gal 5?  Caboose (Scorpion-X) is right in the middle of things - in more ways than one.  He's got my vote.

basically i was hoping i could get  hector or someone from R.I.P to do it as a favour. we'd need about 1667 LF for a full 20% shot. so if 8 of us contribute 200 LF then we could do something. and yeah, we'd all have to ACS defend while someone with an uber fleet crashes them.

remember though there are no guarantees, it's a risky, we could have to commit that amount multiple times. but i have almost 100LF ready and could make more if we're serious about this.
yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
