Do you any of you like or watch Mixed Martial arts (MMA), such as the UFC or Pride? What do you think about it? Do you think this is a great sport, or just a fad? Too much fun or too brutal?

it's fun to watch, i just hate this big "beef" matches, because you have to pay big bucks to watch it, and then it ends in 2 minutes. like the tito and shamrock fight.

i like watching the UFC. i generally like all types of shows where i get to watch people beat the shit out of each other for no good reason. UFC is just aired on SPIKE on a regular bases. If other were aired more regularly, i would probably watch them too.

Vapid. Also, it's not an art when you have pompous, cocky people fighting for fame and money. It's a sport.

He's appearantly undefeated in over 50 matches and has not had an opponet make it past the first round with him. He's a got a killer KO headkick!! Also, I really like Tim "Irish Pride" Conners. He used to be a boxer - now turned kickboxer. He's got hands. But my favorite fighter is Thomas "Thunderkick" Longacre. Even though his team didnt make it to the playoffs, I hope we'll see a lot more of him in the '07 season. Maybe he'll trade teams or something. Anyway, he broke some guys ribs within the first 20 seconds of a match the first time I saw him! Talk about a good first impression.... Versus network (formerly OLN) will be showing the '06 playoffs this month as well as some special called "Inside the WCL." I'm looking forward to it.... there's lots of good info on the league on the wikipedia page.Edit: Here is a video with Stephen Thompson (in black pants).

i actually study traditional tae kwon do, and i gotta say, its fun watching different styles go at it all out. granted mostly its not a lot of technique, but then again...in a street fight, a ground pound will do more than a flashy kick. i say its just awesome fun to watch, especially inebriated. SirCrapsalot: i just got turned down by my e boyfriend SirCrapsalot: oh fuck wrong box 3 rabbits are on a log. One of them goes home and hangs himself........Buy a bike!
