I got on the Tomb a few times today to try out the ctf and actually liked it quite a bit (2 times I was the only player so I just experimented a little) until Elf kept on fragging the shit out of me j/k. Anyways, if anyone has any tips for this game compared to DM please let me know because I would like to play this mod (example: how to nade jump etc...) Check your mouse settings. CTF is much faster so adjust your mouse until you get used to the speed. Also, aim for the head, they actually count as head shots. During each new map cycle, try and use one weapon only so you can get used to it. After a while you will decide which weapon choice works best for you. Anything else you will need to ask the experts(our ctf regulars). BTW, don't worry about getting owned for a while, your a good enough player that you will soon be doing the owning.

I see what you mean about a faster pace game. I had a blast playing tonight/this morning. It will take some time to adjust but I think I will fit right in after a while. Great that you had a good time tonight k! we got some real good games going tonight, with 15/16 server slots filled at the highest I think. Hopefully more DM folks will come over :)
As for tips, come to one of our practices! Practice times are posted always in the CTF private forums, so join in and you'll learn everything you need to know :) As of right now, practices are held in 1.71 which is for team members only, but if you would like to join in practice you are welcome to join the {pDs} team at MyGamingLeague.com and download it. Perhaps if interest spikes, we can work out a clan-wide practice day just for CTF, to convert more of our DM friends :)
