Ok so i downloaded fire fox last night, and this morning my parents try to use the computer and it says mcafee has been uninstalled or something like that. I then go, and right click on it, go to security center, and type in a password. It works now, but was this caused by fire fox? Any help would be greatly appreciated.lol jp jp!â„¢

Firefox user for a long while now and i've never encountered anything close to that. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

I've installed Firefox hundreds of times on a huge variety of computers, I have never seen it do anything like you describe. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

never experienced that either.
and i only use internet explorer if i have to do a windows update. i always use firefox.

Never encountered such a problem ever and I too use McAfee.
