My friend recently asked me to work wit him for World Leadership Group and Premier Financial. He really didnt give me all the details yet but I'm supposed to go to their meeting if i was interested. Does anyone know anything about this company ? supposedly it's some kind of  mortgage/real estate/financial planning company, but i wanna learn more about it before deciding to work for them.

(i just found their website : http://www.wlgweb.com/ , but still too complicated for me O_O!!)

Careful Rune. How is your friend doing financially? This reminds me of those "buy my books and tapes" and sell to you Friends and family scheme.  Just my two cents.

lol, Wolrd leadership/Real estate?

I got invited to this thing called LeadAmerica, but it's a youth program. Basically you go to DC and attend conferences and meet world leaders and get college credits.

If something is legit, you should be able to get info on it without having to attend a meeting.   "Joining" probably will involve you giving them money, then finding other saps to "join" as well.

Have your friend explain it more, if he can't, well, just tell him you're not going.  If that doesn't prompt him to tell you more about, it's a scam - or he's going to take you out into the woods and have his way with you.  But all this is just speculation on my part.

I was once invited to join the "Who's Who of High School Students" if I paid them a fee to buy their book.

You should be more like Cantrip.

Xylicon: "I'm about to deliver my [Richard] in your face for posting that stupid shit. "

GivePeaceAChance: "OMG MY NIPS ARE HARD"

yea, i thought something was up wit this company. and this is actually my friend's friend whose actually working for the company, so i havent had much chance to talk. he did mention that there is a $100 background check fee or w/e, but i get it back after my first paycheck + commision or something. but i'm jst goin ahead to the meeting itself and see for myself.
