On the eve of the opening of "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," Marvel Studios has begun the process of bringing another of its comics to the big screen: the elite superhero team The Avengers.
Zak Penn, who wrote the screenplay for Marvel's upcoming "The Incredible Hulk," is slated to pen the live-action adaptation that would be titled "The Avengers."

Well as long as they make them well (i.e. less like Daredevil, more like X-men 1) then I'm down. See, Holloywood finally relized that there are tons of characters (superheroes) that already have developed story lines, plots, bad guys, etc. So thats less work for them and more money for Marvel. In otherwords, dont hold your breath for these to stop unless they all start tanking. But then again they made a Fantastic 4 part two and they are working on Hulk 2 and those sucked. They just wanna milk it...... to death! But all in all I'm not a fan of the Avengers. I hear they are looking at making a Justice League movie too.... but info on that is scarce.

Pretty much agree with all of that there WDF. As for Transformers... well it'll be a little bit too hollywood. You got Michael Bay directing it.... the same guy who did Pearl Harbor and Armageddon so you KNOW he is going to insert some lame love-story b-plot in the Transformers and well that is FUCKING LAME. It should focus on the Transformers, and a lot less on the humans. Of course I dont know this for sure cause it aint out, but man I think he'll cheese it up based on the previews. We'll see.

The previews make it seem like there will be some lame teen love story behind it.

I couldn't agree with you more. I don't see what the big deal was about Spider Man. I thought the first two sucked balls. As a matter of fact I never even finished watching # 2. I'm not gonna waste my money on # 3 Dick Cheney's Mechanical Heart wrote:I wish I had some vicodin, it's been a long time. I remember the first time I took some vicodin for fun, it was like my whole body was a dick and god was blowing me.
