Despite my attempts to recover the last major crash that my PC has gone through ive lost a number of songs and videos but probably most important of all is all the pictures ive accumulated over the years. All my work gone to the shitter with no chance of recovery since i dont know how.

along with my picture file which contained a very important and treasured mouse icon. If by any chance anyone has a copy or has it in their possession id like to ask if someone could send me the mouse icon. ive had the icon since i got my very first PC in 99.

it looks exactly like this, unfortunately i cant use this as its not an .ani file. I must get this piece back if im to get back anything at all.

did you hard drive crash? what happened? unless your hard drive died horribly you can usually recover data with a bit of minor skill. if the drive is really gone then you can ship it off to a recovery service (if your data is worth $1500+ to you)

still don't know whats wrong with it, i can access everything on the hard drive except boot from it or access documents and settings for my profile. when I boot from it, it claims there is a problem with my 2nd HD. ran a scan through it and virus was found. I cleaned it, even had the HD disabled and it still woun't boot.

that sucks. what happens when you try to access the data in your profile? if its just a permissions issue you can probably hax0r it pretty easily.

of all the things on one's computer, saved work, porn, music and vids, your biggest concern was... a mouse cursor?
I have all my porn on an external harddrive so i dont have to worry about losing MY most prized computer possesions.
