ok so everytime i try to play a game that runs off of the source engine my computer freezes or the game crashes
i could play them, althought with lagg galore, with my old ATI radeon 9200 (128mb)
so i see no reason why it would crash now that i have upgraded to an nVidea 7200 oc (256mb)
anyone have any idea why this is happeneing?

system specs:

AMD XP 2600+ 2.083 GHz
1GB DDR RAM
nVidea BFG Chipset 7800 overclocked 256MB

Is it Source engine only games? Have you tried others? Have you tried loading the game with the lowest possible settings, if so does it still crash?
When you installed the new video card did you completely remove the old drivers? Have you tried running your video card non-overclocked?
