My evga 6200 has apparently burned out (black screen). I get life back out of the system by going back to an old 5200 card which of course is almost worthless for 3d gaming. Anyway I have decided to replace the 6200 with a 7600gs which i can grab from newegg for a 100 bucks.. My question here is if I am going to have a problem with this 7600gs using a 350w power supply? Board is still AGP so that is why i am looking at the cards I am and not something even newer. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

no overclocking.. 2 maxtor 360 gig sata hd ... sb audigy.. 2.4 gh pentium 4.. 1 gig memory.. dvd rw pretty standard stuff... nothing special.. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

its hard to say i dont konw whats it your box. here is a tool i find that will help http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

Hey Terminator, thanks for the idea, now I know why I have my 1600W Ultra X-Connect PSU for my new system. The one I'm building should do about this, + or - a few W or so.

Hey grumpy long time no see. Well if you get the 7600gs, and you start to play games and your computer reboots at random times, then you will need to get a new psu. But if i remeber right you should be fine with the 350 psu, the 7600 and everything thing else in your computer, but if you get a 7800, you will most likey need to get a new psu, i like antec, they have worked very well for me.
