I noticed while in voice chat with Cantrip, When I play something on my computer like sound or a video, it transmits the sound automaticly to the other person. like if I was watching a youtube video it is like I was saying the video on the mic, basically when I voice chat my speakers act as a microphone, letting the other person hear everything i am listening to.

Sounds like you got your speakers hooked up to your mic. ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

What sound card do you use? My old Turtle Beach Santa Cruz used to do this with Ventrilo, there wasn't a fix for it so I bought a new sound card.

check what inputs you have for your outputs....as in go to ur sound card settings....and go to the recording area (also you should go to the voice program in control panel) there make sure you have microphone set as your only input (recording) option. sometimes you will get loopbacking if you have stereo set to recording Code:<a href="http://www.sloganizer.net/en/" target="_blank" title="Sloganizer - the slogan generator"><img src="http://www.sloganizer.net/en/image,Sloganizer,white,black.png" border="0" alt="generated by sloganizer.net" title="This slogan was generated by sloganizer.net"/></a>

What card did you get and how long ago? $? I don't think his speakers were plugged into the mic jack as the sound was pretty clear at my end. You should be more like Cantrip. Dude, wait about 30 minutes. We have the same mobo - same echo problem, though yours seems to be a stranger variant of my problem. Like an idiot I uninstalled the Realtek drivers without setting a restore point. Now I have no sound at all and no mic function. Every time I try to install the driver from the disc, the ASUS website or the Realtek website, it gives me an installation error. I give up. I just got home with the Sound Blaster 5.1 card. I'll install it and report back on whether that fixes the problem. You should be more like Cantrip. Twitchy: "I pulled a Cantrip . . ."
